Hi all - has anyone had luck using a Data Recovery program? I've accidentally permanently deleted several folders worth of my kids' pictures and am trying to get them back. How can I get back files I deleted? I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you.
Ok, so you've lost important files. Don't panic. Take a breath, and let's see if you can find it. Before you look for methods to recover files, make sure you double-check the folder you had saved it in and the Recycle Bin or Trash. Still there is nothing?
If that is the case, you should stop use your computer as little as possible until you get back deleted files. Why? Let us make out what happens after you deleted the files. When your operating system deletes a file, all it really does is to mark the space on your hard drive that your file occupies as fee space to be used and overwritten. Every time you operate your computer, the system will generate some temporary files and write information to your hard drive. At this point, the file recovery process becomes much more difficult.
If you are also frustrating losing data by executing "Shift + Delete" (on Windows) or "Command + Shift" (on Mac), you do need to use recovery or undelete software. Data Recovery is a reliable and easy program that enables you to get back deleted files. Of course, it is also able to recover media files including photos, videos, audios and documents from the storage media that is formatted, corrupted, or damaged. It supports devices such as hard drive, USB flash drive, memory card, SD card, mobile phone, camera and etc. Turn to Data Recovery for Mac if you are Mac users.
The sooner you attempt to recover your files, the higher your chances of success you have. Don't hesitate! Let's check the instructions for getting back deleted files together.
