AirPods are Apple’s wireless headphones that allow you to listen to audio being played from your Apple devices. If you have just got the shiny new AirPods from Apple and are wondering how you can go about pairing them with your Apple devices, then this guide is for you.

The following guide should walk you through the steps on how you can pair your AirPods with your various Apple products, such as your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.

Let’s start with iPhone first:

Part 1: How to Pair AirPods with iPhone X or iPhone 8/8 Plus/7/7Plus/6s/6/5s?

It is extremely easy to pair AirPods with any iPhone running iOS 11 and iOS 10. Now follow step below:

1. Open the AirPods case at the front of your iPhone.

2. Tap on the Connect button in the Control Center for both of your devices to connect to each other.

If you have an Apple Watch and you would like to pair your AirPods with it, then you will be glad to know that your AirPods will automatically be paired with your Apple Watch once they have been paired with your iPhone.

So, if your AirPods are paired with your iPhone, they are also paired with your Apple Watch.

Part 3: How to Pair AirPods with an iPad?

If you use the same Apple account on your iPad as your iPhone, then your AirPods will automatically be paired with your iPad as it uses iCloud sync which lets your iPad know it needs to be paired with the AirPods.

Part 4: How to Pair AirPods with a Mac

If you would like to pair your AirPods with your Mac, then you can do so by first pairing your AirPods with your iPhone and then iCloud will carry forward all the changes to your Mac and your Mac will then also be paired with your AirPods.

By now, your AirPods should be paired with all of your Apple devices and you will be all set to enjoy high-quality music on the go with your new headphones.

If you can’t get your AirPods to pair with your iPhone due to some issues, then you will need to first rectify everything that’s preventing pairing and then start afresh.
