How to Lock Notes with Password in iOS 11/10

Part 1: How to Set Password/Touch ID for Notes App

To set password, users have two choices that you can choose to set password in Notes or set password in Settings.

a. To set password in Notes, you should launch Notes app first;
Tap on share icon on an old note or a new one;
Tap on Lock Note and set the password for the note.

Go to: Settings >> Notes >> Password

Part 2: How to Lock Notes with Password or Touch ID

After you have set the password or Touch ID for your Notes, you then can lock your note whenever you want.

You should just launch Notes and tap on share icon on note, then choose “Lock Note” to lock it. And you will be asked to enter your password or verify Touch ID when you try to open the note.

Part 3: How to Change/Reset Notes Password

Regularly change password is a good habit for all the users, thus to change notes password can be a significant operation. You can achieve this goal on iOS 11 iPhone/iPad/iPod by going to:
Settings >> Notes >> Password >> Change Password
You are required to fill the blanks as it list to change the password.

If you forget the old password for your note in iOS 11, you can also use your Apple ID password to reset it. You should go to: Settings >> Notes >> Password >> Reset Password.
After you entered Apple ID to verify, you will be able to set a new password.
