Any Data Recovery is a powerful Windows data recovery program that helps you recover photos, videos, audios, documents and other data from PC, hard disk and other storage devices. Here is a detailed tutorial about how to recover your deleted files. Firstly, download this software and install it on a Windows computer.
Note: Please do not install Any Data Recovery on the partition where the lost data located. If you would like to recover data from removable media, please connect the removable device to PC.
Step 1: Select Location to Scan Files
Launch Any Data Recovery on your computer and choose a location where you lost files. The location can be the Desktop, My Document, Recycle Bin, or one of your hard disk drives, and finally click "Scan" to scan lost files.
Step 2: Scan Lost Files on Windows
Now Any Data Recovery will start to scan your files. The scanning processing time will depends on files size. When the scan is completed, all files found are displayed in file view by default.
You can switch to Tree View mode to check the scan results.
Note: If you can't find your lost files in the scan results. Please try the deep scan mode which can scan deeply to find more files. Please note that the deep scan will take more time.
Even in the deep scan mode, you can return to check previous scan results.
Step 3: Preview Lost Files
In default, the scan results are displayed as list. You can change the preview mode by switching to thumbnail previvew.
Or click the "window" icon on the bottom-right from the screen to switch to Preview Mode. There is a thumbnail for each found item on the right pane.
Click the "Preview" will show you the full info on the right pane.
Pause & Continue: During the recovery process, you can check files at the same time. If the files you need have been scanned, you can click "Pause" to recover them first. Then click "Continue" or "Stop" for the next operation.
Filter: You can filter your lost files in the scanning result by searching the file name.
Step 4: Recover Lost Files
Check the files you need and click "Recover". Then choose a location to save the recovered files properly. Do not save the data to the place where you lost them in case of disk overwritten and permanent data loss.
