For some reason when I updated to the new iTunes my iPhone 6 stopped connecting to my computer and iTunes. I have tried restarting my computer and my iPhone but nothing is working. I have tried plugging in different plugs thinking something with the cord but nothing! But when I try to connect my iPhone my computer makes the sound as if it is connected but my phone is not in my computer and my iPhone shows it’s not connected.

Many people face the problems that their iPhone cannot connect with iTunes after upgrading to a higher version. Here we recommend you some small tips to get your iTunes recognize your iPhone.
If you’ve done all the tricks above and the iPhone is still not detected, try connecting the iPhone to a different computer and seeing if it’s identified. This can help rule out if the problem is with the original computer, or if it’s a problem with the iOS device itself.
If it still does not work, then we may recommend you to delete iTunes and reinstall it again. That process is going to be different whether the computer is a Mac or Windows PC. First, you should uninstall iTunes. Since iTunes is a protected app in your computer, you should uninstall it from the Mac Terminal or Windows Control Panel. Then you go to app store and download the latest version of it.
