I accidently deleted all my files from my Seagate FreeAgent Go (about 160GB of the last few years of wildlife photos, family photos, work documents, etc.). I really need and want them back! I contacts Seagate, but the service they provided will cost $100. That's too expensive for me. Is ther any way to recover data from Seagate External Drive? -----Jaredmizanin from Yahoo Answer
Want to restore deleted files from hard drive? Is there any cheaper way will do that job? To get back deleted files economically, the best method is utilizing data recovery software. Many of them work wonders, no need to waste time in driving a long way to professional data recovery service center. Only sit before the computer, Strike the keyboard leisurely. You can retrieve deleted files easily.
Here I recommend Deleted File Retrieval. It is the most outstanding data recovery tool to restore files from formatted, failed, bad, damaged, crashed hard drive in Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP. And if you are a Mac user, Mac Deleted File Retrieval is the right bet.
Run Deleted File Retrieval software which has been installed in your PC. Select the file types you want to recover and then click on Next to select the partition you lost files. Click "Scan" button, the software will quickly scan the selected disk to find all your target files.
After scanning, you are allowed to preview your deleted photos and music files. Select the files you want and click "Recover" button.
Select a destination where you would like to save the target files. We highly recommend you to save the files in a different drive from your source one for if the lost data were overwritten by new content. It is quite hard to recover.
