The Ways to Prevent Data Loss and Retrieve Data

1Select Recovery Mode
There are four kinds of recovery mode in Tenorshare Data Recovery. Choose one based on your need ("Deleted Recovery" for deleted data retrieval, "Format Recovery" for formatted data recovery, Partition Recovery for partition recovery and Raw Recovery for specific type of file retrieval). Here we assume that you just now deleted some files, so click "Deleted Recovery". And select the partition where your lost data located.
2Step 2: Scan Partition

Therefore, saving your files on another drive would be the safest way.
- 2. Backup your important files regularly. You are suggested to create regular backups of your files. It will increase your odds of being able to retrieve files from hard drive if you accidently lose your data in the future. Another excellent alternative is to buy an external hard drive and save your valuable files on it as a backup.
