  Launch this Photo Recovery Software. Haven't installed? Go to download it firstly. This program will list all the volumes on your Mac and detected portable devices, select the one where your lost files located. Specify the file type your need to recover to save the scanning time. Click "Start Scan" to proceed. In the process of scan, if you have already found the files that you need, you can click "Stop Scanning" button to stop the scanning, and go direct to the next step.
  Note: Don't install it on the volume where you lost your files.
  

  

Step 2: Select the Files You Need to Recover
After scanning, all the recoverable in the selected volume are displayed in a tree-like file directory. They are categorized by file type and file format. Before recovery, you can preview photos, audios to check whether they are the ones you need. Tick the one you want to recover and hit "Recover".

Step 3: Save the Recovered Files
Enter or specify a location on your Mac to save the recovered photos, videos, or other files. Here you should note: We highly suggest that you should select a directory that is located in a different partition from the source partition.
